Brother Kald, it is good to see you and the Defiants bring the Saracens to their knees. When I visited you in the Wildlands I had no idea the return you all spoke of would be so soon. I will dispatch comms details to you as requested. There can be no doubt where me and my Brothers stand. From Providence to the Bleak Lands, we fly on the wings of freedom.
Fiery the angels fell, deep thunder rolled around their shores, burning with the fires of Orc.

It is suprising but good to see the Electus Matari come stand with their outcast Brothers. Come let us bloody our hands with these Amarr. Perhaps when enough of them are dead and our people free we can drink again in the halls of the ancestors.

More Mindflood Saraith? I knew the new SCC regulations would cause problems for the Amarrians. There has been no civil war with the Republic, we are soaked in the blood of slavers, not Matari. We have called for elections to be held and put a bounty on Midular for ordering the assasination of Captain Muritor but that is hardly a civil war.
The Republic Parliment declared the Defiants and all who aid them traitors and outlaws already and quite some time ago. Yet neither Ushra'Khan or the Defiants have attacked the Republic. In fact we recently returned to Molden Heath for a time on a peace keeping mission.
While we disagree with it's leadership and want to see Midular replaced with a pro-Matari leader we certainly do not seek to destroy the Republic. Quite a ridiculous notion and one born out of blind fear. Fear because you see the tribes starting to unite as one. You see the Matari now rise against the centuries of holocaust your people have visited upon us in the name of your god.
A day will dawn when all our kin will be free. When that day comes I will not offer your kind enlightenment or a new way of life. I offer you the void. Your cities will be demolished. Your teachings and scriptures destroyed. Your bloodlines extinguished. Your names will never be uttered and history will forget you ever existed.
We come for our people, but first I am coming for you. Die well.

I had hoped against hope that Electus Matari doctrine would not overrule the instincts of your warriors. A shame but given the circumstances it is understandable.
I have chosen my path, I fight for the freedom of our people. The law does not support this fight so I am an outlaw. Perhaps one day the Republic will choose a new leader, one who will lead our people to true liberty. When that day comes I may return to the Republic.

Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon There is no "doctrine" overriding my instincts, Thrace.
Insulting your brothers and sisters when they disagree with you does not get you -- or our people -- anywhere.
I thought Electus Matari doctrine was to support the Republic in all things? It is my understanding that the Defiants and all who aid them are regarded traitors to the Republic by Parliment decree. While the instincts of your warriors stated here clearly say they wish to join us in battle against the Amarr the official word of the Electus Matari is that you will not get involved. Quite understandable, you cannot join this fight without going against the Republic and therefore Electus Matari doctine.
How you get insulted by this simple fact is beyond me. We don't expect you to fight for the Matari people, we don't expect you to stand against the Amarr. But we will and you can be as offended as you like about that fact. Neither your wounded sensibilities nor Amarrian lasers will stop our march.

No need to discuss it Elsebeth, you have just repeated back to me what I said in the first place. We know exactly where the Republic stands on this matter although you might want to explain it to the rest of the Electus Matari.
As for those brave warriors who have answered the war drums of the Defiants, I salute you. While we await further orders from Captain Wedafur head to our public channel "Deck23". From there we can begin to co-ordinate our efforts with you. Be warned it is a public place and many who mean our cause harm monitor it. From there we can arrange something more secure until the Defiants release details of their Op-Comm.
Rise.

I spit on your pity. Do you understand the situation between those who stand with the Defiants and those who stand with Midular? This is not some petty difference of opinion. We have all seen Midular's death squads, we know full well what we have had to do for the cause.
The Republic Parliment has deemed the Defiants and all who aid them to be traitors. Yet Electus Matari would go against that and take me back into their ranks? You would harbour traitors against the decree of your own leader?
The official stance of the Electus Matari is to not get involved in the Bleak Lands offensive. Yet Electus Matari pilots have publicaly answered the Defiants call. That would make them outlaws under Republic law.
You say you act not out of Electus Matari doctrine because that implies you do not care for our people. Why is caring for our people not part of your doctrine? You claim to act out of an instinct for good, if that is good then I will be evil but truth is I leave such abstract concepts to the god fearing.
Your people offer us "moral support" in one breath then condemn us in the next. You need to decide what you stand for and speak with one voice. Perhaps then I can take you Republicans more seriously.
I will not return to the Republic, not until it finds a real leader. Personally my choice for Prime Minister would be Malaetu Shakor. He is a leader worth following.
Quote: The liberty of our people is solely our responsibility. Tempting as it is to foist this burden upon our well-wishers, we must never forget that the onus of our emancipation rests with us and us alone.
For too long, our proud people have been subjugated to the whims of enslavers, forced to endure relentless suffering and humiliation at the hands of people whose motivations, masked though they may be by florid religious claptrap, remain as base and despicable as those of the playground bully.
If ever there was a time to rise, if ever there was a time to join hands with our brothers, that time is now. At this exact junction in history we have within our grasp the means to loosen our tormentors hold and win freedom for our kin. Opportunities are there to be taken.
Brothers, we must rise.
Malaetu Shakor, Republic Parliament Head Speaking before the Tribal Council November 27th, YC 107
I hope there are still those in the Republic who are stirred by such words and have the conviction to take up arms and join their Brothers in the Bleak Lands. Did Drupar ask for permission to snatch up the Khumaak? no. Warriors know when it is time to strike and that time is upon us.

I followed Karishal Muritor. I have aided and abetted the Defiants. I continue to do so proudly and openly.
I highlighted the key part.
Quote: MOLDEN HEATH. Questions are finally starting to be answered in relation to The Minmatar Republic's 'Alfhild' Mothership-class vessel that went missing nearly three weeks ago. While initially there was hope that there was no connection between the disappearance of the 'Alfhild' and prominent Republic captain Karishal Muritor, such hope has proven to be in vain. Captain Muritor confirmed his possession of the 'Alfhild' several hours ago. Muritor made his claim by transmitting the following message to The Republic Fleet before disappearing near the Odatrik system: "If you would stand before me and call this state of affairs in which we are held right and true, then I am sure that it is better for me and my men to fight and die without any right than to live in such a lie." Visual data sent with the message confirms that the message was sent from the 'Alfhild'. With no other transmissions received from the captain following his earlier disappearance, The Republic Fleet has attempted to distance it self from their former compatriot. Pressure from the Amarrian Empire is mounting, according to anonymous sources, as Captain Muritor's motives remain unclear. In a statement issued by the Republic Fleet an hour after receiveing the broadcast, a fleet representative declared Karishal Muritor and all of his followers outlaws. The Republic Fleet also vowed to bring Captain Muritor into Republic custody and promptly dispatched a task force headed by Vice-Admiral Kanth Filmir. The loss of the 'Alfhild' and its carrier group consisting of the 'Magni' and 'Modi' along with secondary fleet assets is one of the largest thefts of military hardware in recent memory. The Republic Fleet confirmed today that they are no longer in possession of the mothership and its escorts, and that Captain Muritor is no longer registered as a Republic Captain, but rather has formed a dissident group known as "The Defiants". The Republic refused to comment on the intentions of The Defiants or of Karishal Muritor. However, experts within The Amarr Navy have speculated that they [The Defiants] will attempt to raid and disrupt operations on the border regions of Amarr space. Several key Amarrian commanders have also spoken out and have suggested that Muritor is still acting on behalf of The Republic Fleet despite the declaration made today by The Republic. The Republic continues to deny all allegations of associating with the rebellious Karishal Muritor.
Now, do Electus Matari claim to speak for the Fleet? Do we all now recieve a pardon from her majesty Midular? at the least a letter of marque?
Thought not.
It sounds like you are having fun over there Darius. Perhaps now you will find it easier to overcome your reservations at pacifying Nefanter colonies and return to your Brothers. Our Thukker kin may be hard but at least they are up front.

We have no reason at all to turn our back on the Defiants. To do so would be to abandon not only our Brothers in arms, abandon our entire cause but to also turn our backs on friends. And if I am supposed to be recieving a paycheck from the Republic still please give someone in accounts a kick. I haven't taken a Republic Kredit since I left for Providence.
